ECHO Housing Programs

Lucas Place Transitional Housing

Lucas Place is a 20-unit transitional apartment complex for homeless families who are either living or receving services in Vanderburgh County.

Families may reside at Lucas Place for up to two years as long as they maintain active participation in weekly case management and are working toward self-sufficiency through supportive programs.

New Start Permanent Supportive Housing

A scattered site housing assistance and accessible services to help homeless individuals and families live independently in the community.

New Start is a leasing assistance program for homeless families and individuals with disabilities, administered by ECHO Housing Corporation in partnership with Aurora.

Rental Properties

EHC currently has 30 rental units ranging from 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms which are all Section 8 approved and are for low to moderate income individuals.

These are normal rental units with no supportive services.
