ECHO Housing Helps Homeless Individuals & Families!

ECHO Housing Corporation (EHC) is a non-profit agency that provides housing, help and hope for homeless men, women and children in our community.

We provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services to build skills and motivation for life success.

EHC contributes to a community-wide effort by serving as a catalyst for change and innovation in the fight against homelessness.

Transformation is possible for every individual, and successful independence can be achieved through hard work, self-determination and coordinated community effort.

Our supportive services help individuals overcome challenges and realize their true potential.

Lucas Place

Lucas Place Transitional Housing

Lucas Place is a 20-unit transitional aparment complex for homeless families who are either living or receving services in Vanderburgh County.

Families may reside at Lucas Place for up to two years as long as they maintain active participation in weekly case management and are working toward self-sufficiency through supportive programs.

New Start

Permanent Supportive Housing

New Start is a scattered site permanent supportive housing program in Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties. Through a Case Manager we are able to provides assistance and accessible services to help homeless individuals and families live independently in the community.

Rental Properties

Section 8

EHC currently has 30 rental units ranging from 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms which are all Section 8 approved and are for low to moderate income individuals.  

These are Section 8 rental units with no supportive services.
