Groundbreaking for Lucas Place II

It is hard to believe that we are finally here at the ground breaking ceremony of Lucas Place II, our 27 one-bedroom permanent supportive housing complex for homeless disabled individual veterans. The issue of homelessness among veterans has received a lot of press recently with coverage on 60 Minutes and Oprah. Well, we are proud that ECHO, along with Federal, State and Local government has been working diligently on this project for over a year to address this important issue in Evansville- Well ahead of the curve!!!
While we are proud of what we have accomplished, we realize that there is still al lot of work remaining to fulfill our dream. The ground breaking officially launched our Public Capital Campaign. Donations can be taken to any branch of Integra Bank for deposit and of course can be made at or mailed to ECHO Housing Corporation, 414 Baker Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710.
I would also like to thank the numerous supporters and sponsors for making this event so spectacular.
